Throw a Princess Birthday Party
Throw a Princess Birthday Party
For many young girls in the “princess phase,” everything should be as pink as possible, glittery, and sparkling. We’ll show you how to throw an unforgettable princess party for your daughter! Make your little girl’s dreams come true with princesses to colour in, individual gifts for the guests, and thematic decorations.
Invitation Cards with a Photo of the Princess
Make the kids and their parents already acquainted with the theme of the party with the invitations. You’ll be able to quickly and easily create a completely personalised invitation card using a photo of the birthday princess and a suitably coloured design from our various templates.

For this purpose, we recommend using the single folded greeting card. With this card, you can add both text and a photo to the inside of the card. You could add a puzzle or picture to colour in to let the guests have fun even before the party begins. Simply search online for suitable colouring pictures or puzzles in JPG format and add these to the ifolor card designer as a photo.
You can either write out the invitation text by hand on the upper portion of the inside of the card or simply print it out on the card.
Personalised Mugs as Alternative Place Cards
The place cards on the table, even though they may be wonderfully designed, unfortunately very often land in the trash after the party’s over. Also, after throwing away all the colourful paper cups and plates you’ll quickly end up with quite a bit of rubbish. You can make your party deco more eco-friendly, more personal, and classier by using “real” tableware. Design a personalised photo mug for every guest and the birthday princess. These are a wonderful alternative to place cards and also make great gifts for the guests.
To avoid arguments over who gets which mug, you can add each guest’s name to their mug while designing them.

You can use an ifolor design template in the designer to create your mugs. The templates “Doily Pink” and “Red flower” are perfect for creating princess-themed mugs.
Our website will lead you step by step through the design process. Simply upload a photo of each of the children and write “Princess (Name)” in the text field.
If you’re a little familiar with image editing, you can also design your own image in JPG format and upload it into a blank design template or select a panorama mug. If creating your own design and image for a panorama mug, you should keep in mind that the printable area of the mug is 19.8 x 6.8 cm to ensure your image isn’t inadvertently cropped or cut off.
Other suitable ideas for decorating the birthday table are:
- Garlands, streamers, and balloons
- Decorative napkins
- Confetti
- Candy
- Colourful straws
- Party hats

When the Princesses Like to Colour
Once the delectable birthday cake has been enjoyed, it’s of course time for fun and games. Many girls at this age enjoy doing crafts and colouring. To ensure the guests don’t disappear into the corners of the room or the entire table is completely covered with glue by the end of the party, you can design your own colouring poster. Since recently, ifolor offers photo posters in many different sizes.
For these creative DIY canvases, you can search online for a suitable colouring page to save to your computer and print as a photo poster. When searching for images, make sure that the file is in JPG format - this can be identified by the .jpg file extension at the end of the file name. It’s recommended to order a poster in a size of at least 60 x 40 cm to enable multiple children to colour on it at a time. Simply choose which size you’d like, upload your image during the ordering process, and you’ll receive your poster(s) in the mail in just a few days.

Felt pens or whiteboard markers are well suited for colouring on the poster since the surface is smooth and incompatible with crayons or coloured pencils. The party princesses can now all colour in a beautiful and big picture together and the birthday girl will have something to hang up in her room to remember a great time spent with friends.
Don’t forget to capture the colourful and festive celebration in a few photos for later. Have fun at the party!
