You can order your digital photos in five different formats—from a small 9 cm to the largest, 20 cm. Furthermore, you can have your photos developed as trendy retro or square prints. The modern photo square comes in 10m2 and you can order them with or without a white frame. The retro prints have a white border with a thicker bottom line, which gives them a Polaroid appearance, and is perfectly suited for captions.
After you have uploaded your photos, under the “Options” tab you can add a small, backside text to your print. This could be the file name, the date on which you took the photo, or your own text of maximum 30 characters. If you’d like to add text on the front of the photo itself, you’ll need to use some simple photo editing software. With this you can add your caption to the photo, save it as a JPEG, and upload it to ifolor for printing. The retro prints offer space on the border for a handwritten caption after you receive your print at home.
In principle, the resolution of your photos should be as high as possible in order to see the best results in your prints. When uploading your photos to be printed, should the resolution be too low, you will be notified. You can upload photos with low resolution anyway—just keep in mind that it may result in a low quality print.
Tip: For optimal print quality, your digital photos should have the following resolutions (in pixels and megapixels):
- 9 cm format 1050x1600 pixels or 2.0 MP
- 10 cm format 1200x1800 pixels or 2.8 MP
- 20 cm format 2400x3600 pixels or 10 MP
You are very welcome to send us your 135 film to be developed. Simply fill out the order form and send it to us with your film rolls. In just a few business days you’ll receive your developed prints.
