Decoration and Gift Ideas for Your Easter Brunch

Impress your guests at Easter with a beautifully decorated table. Colour-coordinated serviettes and table runners in fresh, cheerful colours go very well with natural materials like wood slices. Add some fresh flowers to create a lovely spring atmosphere for your Easter table and you can make it more personalised with individual photo products. Here are our favourite ideas:

Photo Mugs as Easter Nests

Create an individual photo mug for each one of your guests. Not only are they a great decoration, but they can also be given as a small Easter gift. Instead of a nest, you can fill the photo mugs with some Easter grass, delicious chocolates or a colourfully painted Easter egg.

You could use the photo mug to serve your loved ones a delicious mug cake for dessert. In this article we have also put together a delicious recipe for an Easter mug cake.

Individually Designing Photo Mugs for Easter

You can individually design some matching photo mugs with an Easter or spring themed design that you can then use for mug cakes. Also ideal as a gift to take home for your loved ones at Easter.

Tip

You can also send a mug filled with dry ingredients as a small Easter gift by post.

Personalised Photo Coasters

Our Photo Coasters are a fantastic and creative idea to brighten up your Easter table decorations. The customisable cork-based coasters are effective against glass rings on the table and they will add a personal touch to your decorations. Create an individual photo coaster for each person at the table. You could add a picture of you and your family, use a picture of each family member or simply decorate the coasters with an Easter design and poem.

Photo Coasters

You can order the square coasters as a set of 4 or 8 and they will come in a box. They will be delivered to your home within 5 working days.

DIY: Cake toppers with Photo Stickers

You can use our photo stickers to make cake toppers that you can use to decorate Easter cakes or cupcakes. All you will need are some round photo stickers, small wooden skewers and some 4.5cm round pendants. Use your favourite springtime photos or create a pretty Easter pattern to design your own individual photo stickers. Attach the tags to the wooden skewers with double-sided tape and then stick a sticker on each side and voilà they are finished and ready to be given to your guests.

Photo Stickers

The Photo Stickers from ifolor have a matt surface and they will make your favourite photos stand out. There are 12 round or 16 rectangular stickers on each A5 sheet, depending on which shape you choose.

Culinary Ideas for Your Easter Dinner

For culinary inspiration this Easter, we've put together a delicious menu consisting of three courses that you can prepare for a small group. Get inspired by our recipes:

Light and Delicious Spring Soup

Start the Easter menu with a light and colourful spring soup. This type of soup is particularly popular in French cuisine. It’s tasty and it contains lots of tender vegetables like carrots, asparagus and peas.

  • 100 g asparagus
  • 100 g kohlrabi
  • 100 g carrots
  • 100 g green beans
  • 200 g peas
  • 5 l clear stock (meat or vegetable)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley or chives to garnish

Peel the carrots, asparagus and kohlrabi and then cut them into equal strips. Cut the green beans into 4cm long pieces. Now boil the clear stock in a saucepan and add the carrots, asparagus and kohlrabi and simmer gently over a medium heat for 10 minutes. Next, add the peas and green beans and let everything simmer over a medium heat for another 10 minutes.. Finally, season the soup with salt and pepper and garnish it with finely chopped parsley and chives.

Delicious Tarte Flambée for an Easter Dinner

Have you ever eaten tarte flambée from raclette pans? If not, then its defiantly worth trying! This delicious raclette idea is guaranteed to score points with your guests this Easter. You can make the tarte flambée dough yourself in no time at all, or you can use ready-made dough from the supermarket.

For the homemade dough, you need 250 g flour, 30 g olive oil, 120 ml water and a pinch of salt. Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead the dough with a hand blender for one minute. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in clingfilm and let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then cut the dough into small pieces so that they will fit in your pans.

For the Alsatian-style topping, simply chop red onions and dice up some ham and add them to some small bowls. Before serving, season the crème fraîche with salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg. Now the fun begins: place the tarte flambée dough in the pan, spread a tablespoon of crème fraîche on the top and then add the pieces of ham and onion.

Tip

You can use the individually designed photo coasters as a placemat for your raclette pans. Create a coaster for each individual family member. That way, everyone knows which pan belongs to whom. The photo coasters have a robust surface, which makes them very durable.

Vanilla Easter Mug Cakes

All great meals end with something sweet. To make our delicious Easter mug cake you can use some individually designed photo mugs. Put 3 tablespoons of flour into the mug with a pinch of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar, a packet of vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt and mix everything together. Then add an egg, 1 tablespoon of milk and a tablespoon of oil to make a smooth dough. Now put the mug into the microwave for around 5 minutes at 700 watts. Finally, finish off with some whipped cream and a sugar carrot cake decoration.
