When using various versions of the Mac OS, such as Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 and Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 from 2010 and 2012, it can occur that a white window is shown instead of an area to enter in your address while beginning the ordering process. If this happens, this usually means there was an error during the data transfer.
This error can occur when using a Mac running an out-dated OS version as well as having too many open programs and apps, which can impair your Internet connection. On the other hand, it’s possible that the connection might not be trusted by your computer due to your security settings, which can prevent a successful connection between your Mac computer and ifolor.
In order to avoid such errors from occurring, we recommend using the most up-to-date version of your operating system, since the OS versions mentioned above are out-of-date and no longer supported by Apple.
Start out by clicking on the Apple symbol in the upper left-hand corner of your computer to open a menu. Here you’ll find the option “About This Mac.” After selecting this, a window will be opened showing various information about your Mac and the current OS version being used.
Then click on “Software Update” and you’ll be redirected to the App Store. Here you’ll see an overview of all pending updates. Select the software update so the download and installation can begin. Instead of following the path as described above, you can also directly access the App Store to see what updates are pending.
Note: Don’t forget to save your photo project before updating your software.
Once the updates have been successfully installed, your Mac will now be up-to-date.
Should you still have problems during the data transfer of your order to ifolor even after updating your OS, you also have the option of ordering offline (See „Alternative Ordering Methods for Mac OS“).
