What kind of digital photos can I upload for exposure?

With ifolor you can only upload photos in JPEG format. It is not possible to upload photos in JPEG2000 format. If you are uploading your photos via CD, USB stick or chip you can also upload photos in TIFF and BMP format.

My order using GIF image files does not work. What do I have to do?

With ifolor it is not possible to order a photo in GIF format, but you can convert your image into JPG format in just a few steps. Use a standard image editing application to convert your image (e.g. Windows Paint).

How can I create digital photos and photo products with ifolor?

With ifolor you have the option of ordering digital photos and photo products quickly and conveniently online. Simply go to the ifolor website and start your design.
Alternatively, ifolor offers you the ifolor Designer software for Windows and Mac for the creation and editing of photo books, which you can install on your computer in just a few clicks. In ifolor Designer, besides the many creation and editing options you also enjoy the freedom to design your photo books when you are not connected to the Internet (e.g. on the train) or permanently save them.


In addition, ifolor provides apps for all standard smartphones and tablets with which you can conveniently order digital photos and selected photo products directly from your device.

When creating my photo product I receive a quality message.

If you receive a warning that your image is not of adequate photo quality please place the image in a smaller photo placeholder or choose a different section.

If a green tick appears when you insert your image then it is an adequate resolution for the desired product. If an orange message appears then your image is just about adequate for the photo resolution requirements. However, the best printing quality can no longer be guaranteed. If a red tick appears this means that the resolution is inadequate for the desired product. Please choose a smaller product format.

Which corrections can I make to my photos?

If you are creating your photo product directly on the ifolor website you have the options of rotating the image, moving, enlarging or minimising the image section and removing red eyes. You also have the option of flipping your images horizontally or vertically and applying an effect (sepia or black and white).

If you are using ifolor Designer for Windows and Mac, there are numerous filter effects and other options available for editing your images.

Is it possible to change the layout/product while creating a photo product?

With ifolor you have the option of changing the layout/design and number of pages during the entire design process on all devices. It is not possible to change the product, for example the format or type of binding, during the design process.

Why do photos and photo products (including books, cards, etc.) differ in exposure and print?

Digital photos are exposed using a photochemical process that is based on RGB, while the photo products are made using a CMYK printing process. The different colour spaces may lead to differences in the final result. However, all products are produced in top quality, as it were.

How high does the resolution of my photos have to be for different product formats?

Your photo should have the right resolution for the format so that we can produce your photos and photo products in top quality. The quality of your selected images is automatically checked during design and a quality note is displayed on each image.

Will my images be placed in the order that I selected when uploading them?

The time required to upload the images may vary depending on the size of the images. The website recognises in which order you clicked the images for uploading and your images are displayed in this order.

We recommend that you wait until all your images have uploaded before creating your photo product.

Does the website/ifolor Designer recognise whether the image is portrait or landscape format?

Your uploaded images are placed in the pre-designed page template.  We therefore ask you to check the selected image sections. You can adapt the layout and image section by clicking on the image in the editing window which then opens.

How long does it take on average for my photo product to arrive at ifolor via the Internet?

How long it takes for your photo product to be sent to the ifolor server depends on the type of product and also specifically on the size of your images and your computer's speed. Normally, it does not take longer than a few minutes to send though.

How can I open my saved products when they’re no longer shown or an error message appears?

When your saved photo products in your ifolor account under “My products” are no longer visible or an error message appears when you try to open them, don’t worry. They’re not lost. You can simply find your works of art via the edit mode from the home screen instead. To do this, open a new product of your choice and you’ll be lead to its editor. Then choose the option “My products” from the dropdown menu in the upper right-hand corner. Afterwards, an overview displaying your saved and edited projects is shown. Find the photo product you’re looking for, click on the pencil symbol next to it, and you’ll be able to continue with your design.

What should I do when the order window is blank or I get the error message “Uuups – Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten”?

It can sometimes occur that the window shown during the ordering process in the ifolor Designer is empty or you get the error message “Uuups – Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten.” This problem is easy to fix since this usually occurs due to the settings in the Internet options; you’ll just have to reset your Internet settings. To do this, go to the Windows start menu and search for “Internet Options,” open the search hit, and then click on security. Here, click on the button “Reset all zones to default level.” The security level should be set at a maximum of “Medium-high.”

What can I do when the data transfer is interrupted during the ordering process?

You’re done designing your photo product and already can’t wait to receive it in the post, but then nothing happens during the data transfer in the ifolor Designer? No worries: this is easily fixed. Problems during the data transfer usually occur when your Internet or network connection is weak and when your data, i.e. your completed photo product, is larger than 50,000 KB. If you encounter problems during the data transfer you can reduce the file size of very large images by using an image-editing program. High-resolution panoramic photos are usually very large files, but even images that are especially large can also be reduced in size - this will of course not change the quality of your picture in your photo book! Another way to prevent this problem from occurring is to avoid using mobile networks or weak Wi-Fi connections. In order to try again with the data transfer, click on “Cancel” in the data transfer window. Afterwards an info window will appear and you’ll be asked if you would like to retransmit the incomplete files. Confirm this by clicking on “Yes” in order to begin a new upload attempt.

What alternatives do I have for uploading my pictures for my photo products?

If you’re having difficulties uploading your pictures for your photo book, wall decoration, or another photo product, there are several approaches you can try. Firstly, in the product editor window there is an “Add images” button where you can carry out a standard upload. Here, however, you can only select and upload one photo at a time. When designing one of our many different photo gifts and wall decorations, this is a practical alternative. If designing a photo book or a photo calendar, on the other hand, this can be quite time-consuming. There could be a problem with the format of your image files. Since we only work with JPG files, you’ll receive an error message if you use another unknown format. If this is the case, re-save your pictures using an image-editing program and change the format to JPG. Also, in our Download Center you can find the ifolor Designer and useful apps for your mobile devices, which you can also use to design your photo products and order digital prints.

How can I set my chosen font style as my default font?

Font styles help accentuate the theme of your photo book and are thus an important component of the designing process. This is why we’ve made it possible to automatically set your chosen font style and text format as your default to use for all text placeholders in your photo book to aid you in ending up with a uniform design. To do this, all you’ll need to do is create a format template and set this as the default for your photo book. Start out my selecting a text placeholder on the first page of your photo book and open the text editor. Here you can choose your desired settings such as font style, colour, and orientation, and then save these settings under “Format templates.” Now you can set your saved formatting from “Format templates” as the default for the whole photo book.

Which programs can negatively influence accessing the ifolor Designer or the software’s project files?

You’re unable to install or use the ifolor Designer or you’re limited with the design and ordering of your photo books? These problems can occur if the ifolor Designer is unable to access important programs or project files. This restriction of permissions can result due to the settings of the logged-in user or your anti-virus software is currently running on settings that are preventing access. In order to troubleshoot these kinds of problems, you’ll either have to adjust your Windows user settings or search in other third-party software settings (e.g. Bitdefender) to see where this problem is resulting.

Can I change the number of pages and photo book cover during the design process?

It is possible to change the number of pages and photo book cover at any time during the design process. The variety of design templates may vary depending on the device.

What are the advantages of ifolor Designer for Windows and Mac compared to designing photo books online on the website?

The downloaded ifolor Designer for Windows and Mac offers you a number of additional design options (templates, filter effects, etc.) for creating photo books. In addition, with ifolor Designer you also have the freedom of creating your photo books when you are not connected to the Internet (e.g. on the train, when travelling).

Another advantage is that the photo book you created is saved on your hard drive. You can access the photo book again and edit, add to and reorder it at any time.

How can I open an existing photo book?

You can open and edit your saved photo books at any time. When you open ifolor Designer, a dialogue is displayed at the start that asks whether you would like to continue working on a saved photo book or start a new photo book. Once you have selected a saved photo book you can continue editing this straight away.

If you are using the ifolor website to create your photo book, log on and find your photo book under "Saved products". The photo book is saved on the website for 14 days from the time it was last edited.

How can I continue working on my photo book on another computer?

If you have created your photo book using ifolor Designer for Windows or Mac, you can continue editing it on another computer. It is best to save your photo book on a USB stick. As a result you have the option of editing your photo book on any other computer on which ifolor Designer is installed, even without connecting to the Internet. Please note that it is not possible to change from Windows to Mac or vice versa.

If you are using the ifolor website to create your photo book, log on and find your photo book under "Saved products". The photo book is saved on the website for 14 days from the time it was last edited.

I have created my photo book online, how can I open it?

If you are using the ifolor website to create your photo book, log on and find your photo book under "Saved products".

We recommend using ifolor Designer for Windows and Mac to design your photo books. This offers you many more design options as well as the editing of your photo book, even if you are not connected to the Internet. You can save your finished photo book on your computer or on a USB stick and it is available at any time for you to edit and (re)order.

Can photo books also be ordered by CD?

Once you have finished your photo book, place it in your shopping basket as usual. During the order process select the "Order photo book by CD" option. Then send the appropriate CD to the address provided.

Can I / How can I change the format or binding type of a saved photo book later on?

If you have created a photo book you can at any time change the size or binding type of the photo book, e.g. change a Deluxe A4 landscape into a Deluxe A3 landscape. In Windows Designer, an assistant is available to help you in this process. It is possible that it may be necessary to edit your book after converting it into another size or binding type.

Please pay attention to the advice text during the conversion.

How do I alter the format using Windows Designer?

1. Open the photo book in Windows Designer.
2. Click on "File" at the top left in the menu.
3. Now select "Change photo book...".
4. The assistant for "Changing photo book..." opens, in which you will find listed all the formats/bindings that are available to you for the saved photo book. By clicking, choose the product you want from the list and go to the next step.

What do you need to pay attention to during the conversion?

1. In some changes of book type, depending on the possible number of pages, empty pages might be added at the end of the book or even pages deleted.
2. In some changes of book type, it may occur that a cover is added or deleted.
3. Depending on the format, it is possible that picture resolutions may no longer be sufficient and the photo placeholders have to be adjusted.
4. Depending on the format, it is possible that text placeholders may have to be enlarged.

How can I share the photo book I created with friends?

You’ve created a real masterpiece and would like to share it will all your friends on Facebook? Or perhaps you’d like some feedback from your friends or family members before you order your photo book? With the ifolor Designer you have the ability to create your own temporary website for your photo book and share this web link with others. To do this, simply open the photo book you’d like to share and select “File” in the upper left-hand corner and then the option “Share photo book.” In the preview window, give your photo book a title and then choose a background for the website where your photo book will be presented. Then click on “Publish” to be able to see the link to your photo book at the bottom of the preview window. You could, for instance, share this link on Facebook or send it directly to your friends. The web link can be opened on any device no matter what browser is being used. You are the only one able to make changes or delete the site from your own device. After 30 days the validity of the web link will expire and the site will automatically be deleted.

What other alternatives do I have when I’m unable to order my photo book from my PC?

Problems with your Internet connection are always a pain, but it can happen from time to time. This, however, won’t prevent you from ordering your photo book from us. We offer you two alternatives so you can still place your order. You could copy the whole file of your photo book to a data storage medium, such as a USB stick or CD/DVD. You can find the file with your photo book data in the file path that was automatically created during the installation of the ifolor Designer. By using a USB stick, CD, or DVD, you can transfer your photo book to another PC that has Internet access and wrap up your order there. Another alternative is to send us your data storage medium by post and then we can get started on your order. If going this route, simply include a letter with your parcel that includes: how many copies we should make of your project, your name, address, email address, and telephone number. This way we can keep you up-to-date about your order.

How can I order a photo book on a Mac Computer without an Internet connection?

Your photo book is complete and you’d like to order it, but you aren’t currently connected to the Internet with your Mac computer? Simply open the photo book file on another Mac or send us the file on a data storage medium, such as a USB stick, to our service address. For both alternatives you’ll need to copy your photo book file from your system directory to a data storage medium (e.g. a USB stick, CD, or DVD). It’s easiest to find the file by right clicking in your finder to have the photo book shown.

How can I save a photo book from my Mac computer onto a data storage medium?

You would like to continue working on your photo book using another Mac computer or backup your photo book data because you’re perhaps purchasing a new computer? Simply transfer your photo book projects to an external data storage medium. To do this, you’ll just need your photo book file(s) (*Book Name*.ifolordesigner) from your system directory. Right click on your selected file and choose the option “Copy” in the context menu. Then simply transfer this copied data to a data storage medium such as a USB stick, CD, or DVD.

How do I open an ifolor photo book as an eBook on my Windows PC?

If you chose the eBook option when ordering a photo book using the ifolor Designer, you’ll receive an email containing the link to download your “ifolor eBook Combi” after wrapping up your order. This file will enable you to view your photo book anywhere at anytime either while you’re on the road or from your PC. This digital photo book is in “ePub” file format. This makes it possible to open the digital photo book by using the Google Chrome browser and the “Readium” extension.

How can I create my own page templates for my photo book?

In the ifolor Designer you can design your photo book pages exactly how you want them and save them as a template to be able to use for your future projects. This is especially practical for creating things like a photo yearbook. To do this, simply right click on the page with your self-created layout and choose the option “page layout” in the menu window. Now you can save the design of the marked page or double-page in order to use it as a template for other pages or future photo book projects. Besides the arrangement of image and text placeholders, you can also save design elements such as backgrounds, decorations, and your photos in your template. You could, for instance, create a photo book every year to prominently display each year’s highlights and save your template to make each year’s photo book uniform without having to start from the very beginning every time.

How can I open my saved products when they’re no longer shown or an error message appears?

When using the ifolor Designer you can use your own photos as backgrounds or colours and patterns from design templates to lend your photo book that much more of a personal note. You could, for instance, use a background with balloons for a birthday photo book to really highlight your photos. To add a background, use your mouse to click on one of your own brilliant photos or one of our various colours or pattern designs and drag it to the edge of one of your book’s pages or in the middle of a double-page. Really emphasise your most brilliant photos with fitting backgrounds such as a sandy beach for an ocean vacation or perhaps your first photo of the newest addition to the family as a background for the first page of your baby photo book. Once the area is highlighted in orange, you can add your background by releasing your mouse button. With only a couple of clicks you can also assign your background to several or all other pages of your photo book.

How can I transfer my saved photo book to another PC?

You’ve created a photo book on your computer and would like, before you order, to have it looked at by friends or family members or perhaps one of your loved ones has some photos that you’d like to use and you’d like to complete your photo book on their PC? No problem! The ifolor Designer saves your photo books in their own folder on your computer. In Windows you can find your projects under “Documents” in a specially created file just for your quality photo books. If you’re a Mac OS user, your photo books are saved in your “Library”, which you can locate using the help of your Finder. Simply copy your photo book folder (for Windows) or the photo book directory (Mac OS) to a data storage medium, such as a USB stick or your phone, and then easily transfer your photo books to the other computer in the same location. Then open the ifolor Designer on the other computer and you’ll automatically find your photo book on the start screen. You can only transfer your photo books from Windows to Windows and Mac OS to Mac OS, but using different versions of the same operating system won’t inhibit the transfer.

What should I do when I get stuck while “reviewing order” in the ifolor Designer and clicking the “OK” button doesn’t bring me to the next step?

You’ve already come so far and you’ve completed your photo product, but then you get stuck while reviewing your order. That’s unlucky, but this problem is easily fixed since it is simply caused by Windows display settings that could prevent the correct display of the ifolor Designer. First start out by checking the option “Continue Anyway.” Unfortunately, you won’t be able to go further in the ordering process by using your mouse, so simply press the tab key followed by the space bar. Now the “OK” button should be highlighted in blue and when you move your mouse over it, it should appear orange. Now you can finish the ordering process.

How do I share my photo book in the Mac ifolor Designer with friends without ordering it?

You’ve created a one-of-a-kind photo book and would like to share it with friends and family without ordering it? Maybe you’d like some feedback or would like to share your creation with friends that live far away? The ifolor Designer for Mac allows you to create your own temporary web link to your photo book, which you can share with your loved ones through social media or email. Start out by naming your photo book, click on the “i” icon located to the right of the name, and then “Share photo book”. Afterwards, follow the steps laid out in the ifolor Designer and you’ll then be able to share your photo book without having to order it. The web link you’re given can be opened in any web browser and on any device. Only you will have the option of making changes and deleting the page. The web link will then be automatically deleted after 30 days.

How can I open the ifolor e-book on my Apple devices?

Whether on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad: all you need to be able to open the ifolor e-book on your apple devices is the iBooks App. If you already have this app installed on your device, you’ll just need to download the e-book, which was sent to you per email, and then you’ll easily be able to view it in the app.

How can I access my iPhone library or Photos app from the ifolor Designer?

In 2015, iPhoto was replaced by the Photos app on all Apple products. Since then, the ifolor Designer is also compatible with the Photos app and can no longer access the iPhoto library. Should you have problems accessing the Photos app, make sure that the ifolor Designer software as well as your Mac are both up-to-date.

Can I develop digital grey scale images (black and white)?

Yes, as long as the image is kept in sRGB mode.

Why are my digital photos different sizes?

The format of your digital photos is defined by the aspect ratio that the photos were taken in. You can see how the image lengths vary exactly from the list at: http://www.ifolor.ch/en/photos

What happens if an image has a different aspect ratio when I'm ordering digital photos (white margins)?

The image length of digital photos is variable and is defined by the aspect ratio that the photos were taken in. The uploaded images are adjusted accordingly to the selected height and are given a white margin, if necessary. Is it possible to add text to a photo's margin when ordering digital photos?

We recommend leaving a gap between text and the photo margin as roughly 3% of the image height and width is lost during the digital photo production process.

If I am ordering photos by CD, what properties does the CD have to have?

A non-reusable CD should be used for ordering by CD to be possible with ifolor. Simply burn your data onto the CD and follow the instructions here.

Where can I download different ifolor Designer software and apps?

You can find all ifolor downloads here. You can also find all ifolor apps in your device's app store.

I cannot download ifolor Designer for Windows and Mac. What should I do?

If you are having problems downloading ifolor Designer for Windows and Mac, please make sure that you have carried out all operating system updates on your device and you have the latest versions of the applications. Then restart your computer and try to download ifolor Designer again.

If it still is not possible to download the ifolor design software after this, please contact our customer service.

How can I uninstall ifolor Designer?

To remove ifolor Designer from your computer, please proceed as follows:

Windows:
1. Click on Start > Settings > Control pane
2. Double click on "Software".
3. Click on "ifolor Designer" in the list.
4. Click on "Remove" and then on "Yes" and "Finish".

Mac:
1. Select the "ifolor Designer" application in the "Applications" folder.
2. Right click on the symbol for ifolor Designer and choose "Put in Trash".

Ifolor Designer has been successfully removed from your computer once you have completed these steps.

How can I uninstall the ifolor app?

To remove the ifolor app from your smartphone / tablet, please proceed as follows:

ifolor iPhone app/ifolor iPad app
1. Touch and hold down the ifolor app until it starts wobbling.
2. Click on the X symbol to remove the app.

ifolor Android app:
1. Go to "My Downloads" in the "Market".
2. Click on the ifolor Android app and choose Uninstall.

ifolor Windows Phone app / ifolor Windows 8 app:
1. Search for the ifolor app in the start menu
2. Right click on the symbol for the ifolor app and choose "Uninstall" on the line that appears. Once you have confirmed this, the app is deleted.

The ifolor app has been successfully removed from your device once you have completed these steps.

I cannot send my order to ifolor. Why not?

Check whether you have installed the latest version of ifolor Designer / the ifolor app. If this is not the case, install the latest version on your device. Then please restart your device.

Another option is to uninstall and reinstall ifolor Designer / the ifolor app. Please make sure that you have saved your projects before you uninstall it. It is recommended that you save projects in the ifolor apps using the "ifunbox" program.

The firewall is blocking the ifolor photo book program, what can I do?

Firewalls are sometimes set a bit too restrictively, you should therefore release the rights for ifolor Designer. Ifolor Designer does not pose any risks at all for your computer so you can trust the program without any concerns and authorise it. For this open your firewall program and place ifolor Designer on the list of trusted programs. Afterwards, you will be able to use all the ifolor Designer options without any restrictions.

Where can I look to see which security settings are activated on my computer?

Open Settings in your browser to look at your web browser's security settings. You will find the relevant settings under the Security heading. Please note that you should make your settings as strict as possible to protect against any unwanted security attacks.

How can I change my e-mail address?

If you are using a new e-mail address for your order on the ifolor website, please register again.

How can I change my password, or I have forgotten my password, what can I do?

Click on "Forgotten password" online on the login page where you can enter your e-mail and password. You will shortly be sent a link by e-mail with which you can reset your password. Simply click on the link in the e-mail sent to you and follow the instructions.

Why do you need my telephone number for the order process?

Having your telephone number makes it easier for us or our logistics partners to contact you if there are any questions about your order or problems delivering your package.

I'm having problems logging in / am stuck on the website. What do I have to do?

If you can no longer remember your password and/or username correctly click on the "Forgotten password" button on the login page. You will immediately be sent an e-mail that contains a link taking you to a page where you can easily change your password.

How can I subscribe or unsubscribe to the ifolor newsletter?

We recommend you subscribe to the ifolor newsletter so that you are constantly informed about any current discounts from ifolor and do not miss out on any special offers. Subscribe here.

How long does it take for me to receive my digital photos/photo products?

Can you produce my order faster?

In order to guarantee customers the shortest delivery time possible, ifolor relies on a largely automated production process. Orders are fed into the production process immediately after receipt to save valuable time. In the process, orders are produced in the order that they are received at ifolor. It is therefore not possible to change this production order.

Shipping

How high are the shipping costs?

The amount of the share of the delivery costs – which consists of the postal charges, the packaging and the costs of the packaging – is highlighted in the shopping basket before the order is finally placed.

When ordering several products within a single order, the share of the delivery costs is calculated on the basis of the individual products. In this context, starting from a quantity of two (2) different products upwards, a discount of 25% will be provided to this amount. Starting from five (5) products upwards, the total discount increases to 50%.

It is also necessary to bear in mind that with paper photos, the share of the delivery costs will only be calculated once. The same applies to products of an identical nature; for example, with books, when the same book may be configured differently but is unchanged in terms of its type and number of pages.

Do I have to sign for delivery of my order?

As long as the package fits in your letterbox, you do not have to sign for delivery. Larger packages are handed over personally by a logistics partner and a signature is required. A signature is also required if you collect the package from the post office.

Can I send photo products to my friends and relatives?

Yes, with ifolor it is possible to give different delivery and billing addresses. You can simply enter a different delivery address during the order process.

Can I still change the delivery address for my order?

You can change the delivery address at any time if you have not sent your order to ifolor yet. Simply enter an alternative delivery address during the order process.

However, as soon as you have sent the order to ifolor, the automatic production process is immediately started to ensure the shortest delivery time possible. It is therefore not possible to change the delivery address from this time onwards.

Do I have to sign for delivery of my order?

As long as the package fits in your letterbox, you do not have to sign for delivery. Larger packages are handed over personally by a logistics partner and a signature is required. A signature is also required if you collect the package from the post office.

Can I give a request delivery date for ifolor to send my package to me?

Together with our logistics partner, ifolor does everything possible to deliver your order as quickly as possible. For this a largely automated production and delivery process is used which does not allow for delivery on a specified delivery date. If you are not at home when your order is delivered, our logistics partner will leave behind a notification.

Which shipping partners does ifolor work with? Who delivers the packages?

Ifolor works together with Swiss Post for the shipping process. Swiss Post delivers your order conveniently to your home or to a delivery address supplied by you.

How can I pay?

While ordering on the ifolor website you have the following payment options for your order: by invoice, by credit card, PayPal or Postfinance. If you are paying by credit card, PayPal or Postfinance the amount due for your order is only debited once the order leaves our premises.

Please note that the available payment methods may differ on different devices.

An error occurred during the order process when paying for my order, how can I pay for my order?

If you chose the payment method credit card, PayPal or Postfinance and a problem occurred during the payment process we will contact you regarding payment. However, despite these difficulties the production process starts immediately after payment.

Is VAT shown on the invoice for my order?

Yes, VAT is shown at the applicable national tax rate on every invoice.

Voucher codes

Where can I enter my voucher code?

You can enter and redeem the voucher code easily during the order process. You can only redeem 1 voucher code per order.

What can I do if I have forgotten to enter my voucher code?

Discounts cannot be made afterwards. We recommend that you keep hold of your voucher code and redeem it with your next order. Please note the voucher's validity terms.

My voucher code does not work.

Please check beforehand whether the voucher code is still valid. You should also check beforehand whether the voucher code applies to your selected product category and if any possible minimum order amount has been reached. If all the criteria have been met please contact our customer service and we will check whether the voucher code is applicable for you.

Is it possible to combine voucher codes with other promotions?

No, it is not possible to combine several discounts. We work out the cheapest price for you, though. This means if you redeem a voucher code but you already have several products in your shopping basket with a reduced price, we calculate the price that is cheapest for you for each product in the shopping basket. If all the chosen products in the shopping basket have a reduced price and this price is better for you than the reduction with the voucher code, the voucher code is not used. A message regarding this is then displayed. You always profit from the best price in any case.

Gift vouchers

How can I redeem my gift voucher?

You can redeem gift vouchers easily during the order process. The amount due is immediately deducted and the new invoice total is displayed. You can redeem up to 5 gift vouchers at the same time.

How can I combine a discount with a gift voucher?

It is possible to combine a discount with a gift voucher. You can redeem up to 5 gift vouchers at the same time.

Please contact our customer service for discounts off large orders (from 50 items/sets of the same product).

Can I combine several discounts?

It is not possible to combine several discounts. We recommend that you keep hold of any remaining voucher codes and redeem them with your next order.

No, no discounts are given afterwards. We recommend you subscribe to the ifolor newsletter so that you are constantly informed about any current discounts from ifolor and do not miss out on any special offers from now on.

How can I order digital photos and photo products from ifolor?

With ifolor you have the option of ordering digital photos and photo products quickly and conveniently online. For this simply go to the ifolor website, choose the product you want and start creating and editing.Alternatively, ifolor offers you the ifolor Designer software for Windows and Mac for the creation and editing of photo books, which you can install on your computer in just a few clicks. In ifolor Designer, besides the many creation and editing options you also enjoy the freedom to design your photo books when you are not connected to the Internet (e.g. on the train) or permanently save them to your own computer.

In addition, ifolor provides apps for all standard smartphones and tablets with which you can conveniently order digital photos directly from your device.

Which device can I use to order which products from ifolor?

With ifolor you have the option of ordering digital photos and individually designed photo products from a variety of devices. You can find which products can be ordered from which device by clicking on this link.

How can I access my shopping basket without placing a new order?

To view the products you have already designed in your shopping basket, click on the "Shopping basket" button. A summary of the photo products you have already completed is shown. You have the option of creating more products or completing the order.

How do I remove a product from my shopping basket?

Click on the "Shopping basket" button and you will then be shown a summary of the photo products you have already created. You have the option there of removing individual photo products from the shopping basket. For this click on the X symbol next to the product and it will be deleted.

Can I order different products at the same time?

Yes, it is possible to order different products at the same time. Proceed as follows for this: 

1. Create your first photo product and place it in the shopping basket. 

2. Once the shopping basket has been shown click on the next product category that you are interested in and create your next product there.

3. Place the designed photo product in the shopping basket again: if you would like to create more products repeat step 1 and 2, otherwise click on the "Next" button in the shopping basket. 

4. In the next step you can view a summary of your order and if you are happy with it you can complete the order process.Please note that the product selection differs depending on the device being used (e.g. website, software, iPad, etc.).

You can only put together a shopping basket with the products available on the respective device. You can find which products can be ordered from where here.

What do I have to do if my address is not accepted?

First of all check the information that you have entered. Your e-mail address must have an @ in it, for instance. Please also check whether your postcode has the right amount of numbers. Your address will then be automatically checked by our system. If there are any errors, a dialogue box will open with a suggestion for correction. Please check the correction that is suggested.

Please note that it is not possible to give a postbox as a delivery address.

Can I reorder photo products?

Generally, you have the option of reordering within 30 days. For this click on the reorder link that you receive from us by e-mail once your order has left our premises.

What can I do when there’s an error during the data transfer of my order to ifolor?

You’ve completed your photo product in the ifolor Designer and would like to order it, but instead of being able to enter in your address, all you’re shown is a white window? This is an error that can occur due to an overloaded Internet connection or your security settings. In order to avoid errors occurring in the ifolor Designer, it’s usually sufficient to simply ensure that your Mac computer’s software is up-to-date.

Cancelling / changing after placing an order

Can I still change the product design after I have placed the order?

Once you have sent your order to ifolor pre-processing steps begin immediately. Therefore no more changes can be made. Please make sure that you are happy with your design before sending your order.

Can I cancel my order?

In order to guarantee the shortest delivery time possible and consistent high quality ifolor relies on a largely automated production process. This process is started immediately after the order is received. It is therefore not possible to cancel your order.

What is the ifolor eBook Combi?

The ifolor eBook Combi is an extra option that allows you to also display the photo book you created on a tablet or smartphone. As a result you always have your photo book with you and can share your impressions with friends and acquaintances. You can find more information here.

The ifolor eBook is not being displayed. What can I do?

If your ifolor eBook is not being displayed correctly, please download the file again using the link in the e-mail that you received from us. You should also make sure that you have enough memory capacity on your device to download the ifolor eBook.

Can I order the ifolor eBook Combi afterwards?

No, the ifolor eBook Combi can only be ordered during the ordering process of the photo book.

You can view how advanced your order is in the ifolor production process by clicking on the this link. For this enter the order number that you received from us by e-mail after you placed your order. Which stage of the production process your order has already reached will then be displayed.

Can you produce my order faster?

In order to guarantee customers the shortest delivery time possible, ifolor relies on a largely automated production process. Orders are immediately scheduled once they enter the production process in order to optimise the individual production steps and thus save time. In the process, orders are produced in the order that they are received at ifolor. It is therefore not possible to change this production order and give priority to individual orders.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

You can find ifolor's current delivery times here. Please note that you have to calculate in another 1-2 working days for postal delivery, in addition to this production time.
