Q: How can I open my eBook in the ifolor app on iOS?

Click the link in the email to download your eBook. W hen the message “Do you want to download Datei.EPUB?” appears, tap “Download”. In Safari, a blue circle with a downward arrow will appear in the top right corner – tap on it. T he downloaded file will be shown; tap the magnifying glass next to the eBook file. In the next window, tap the same file again to open the eBook. Additionally, make sure that the Books app and the Files app are installed on your device.

When will I receive my eBook?

The download link for the eBook you ordered will be sent to you by email as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Can I order the eBook afterwards?

Unfortunately, due to technical reasons, an eBook cannot be ordered retrospectively. If you still wish to receive an eBook for the desired book, this is only possible by placing a new order for the physical photo book.

How long is the download link for the eBook Combi available?

Within 30 days from the order date, you can download the ifolor eBook Combi as often as you like – even from different devices. Unfortunately, for technical reasons, eBooks cannot be ordered retrospectively. If you wish to receive the eBook for your desired book again, this is only possible by placing a new order for the physical photo book.

Why can’t I see my book cover in the eBook?

In common EPUB formats, the cover is only displayed in the library or gallery view – this is a standard behavior for eBooks.

Most eBooks produced today use the EPUB format or manufacturer-specific variations based on it, which automatically adapt to different screen sizes.

The title of the eBook is typically shown only in the library of the eBook reader and no longer appears once the book is opened. This is generally the case for digital history books, non-fiction books, novels, and so on.

How can I open my eBook on Windows?

The ifolor eBook Combi is created in EPUB format. Please note that converting it to a PDF file is not possible.

An EPUB (eBook) can only be opened if you install a program that supports EPUB files. Generally, EPUB files are supported by most standard eBook reader software:

Please note that these eBook readers are not developed by ifolor, so we are unable to provide support for them.

For all devices running the Android operating system, we recommend the ReadEra app. You can download this app from your app store. Once installed, you can open and view the downloaded EPUB file on your Android device.

Please note that this is only a recommendation – you are, of course, free to choose any app you prefer to open your eBook files.

How can I open my eBook on a Mac?

On a Mac, you can easily open EPUB eBooks using the built-in Books app (formerly iBooks). Just double-click the EPUB file, and it will open automatically in the Books app. Alternatively, you can use other eBook reader programs that support EPUB files.
