When do you send Easter cards?

Easter begins on Maundy Thursday. This is followed by Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday, and finally Easter Monday. You should aim for the cards to arrive by Maundy Thursday or in the worst case, by Holy Saturday.

Make sure you are aware of which days are public holidays as usually no mail is delivered. While Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday are public holidays in Germany, in Switzerland (with some regional differences), Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays. In Austria, however, only Easter Monday is a public holiday.

Please also bear in mind that postal deliveries may take a little longer during the Easter period due to the increased volume of letters and parcels.

What is the delivery time for Easter cards?

The usual delivery time for your Easter greeting cards is 4 working days. However, as we receive a lot of orders during the Easter period you should design and order your Easter cards as early as possible to ensure that they arrive on time.
