Free postcards for Switzerland

The current situation surrounding the coronavirus is keeping people apart. ifolor wants to promote human connection and is therefore now enabling all Swiss residents to send postcards worldwide free of charge. This allows generations to stay in touch safely.

The picture is the same around the world: in the fight against Covid-19, people are staying at home and reducing physical contact to the bare minimum. What remains are electronic tools such as phone calls, emails or video calls with people close to them who do not live in the same household. To ensure that communication is not limited to digital channels only, ifolor is now launching free worldwide postcard delivery. After all, a tactile postcard with a picture is an exceptionally beautiful, emotional gesture that grandparents, a best friend or even one’s own parents are sure to appreciate.

Two postcard formats are available: 15x10cm and panorama 20x10cm. The postcards can be created via the ifolor app (iOS or Android), provided with a personalised stamp and sent – with no shipping costs at all! Since personal visits are not possible, this makes it easy to bring great joy with a small gesture in no time. There is no limit to the number of postcards that can be sent each day. This special campaign runs until the end of April or while stocks last.

How ifolor is dealing with the current situation surrounding Covid-19 ifolor responded early to the coronavirus crisis and set up its own task force back at the end of February. Even before the Federal Council declared a special emergency situation based on the Epidemics Act, ifolor had already cancelled all business trips and introduced working from home. All trade fair visits and training courses were cancelled immediately, disinfectant was provided – also for use on the go – and employees were regularly informed about hygiene and protective measures.

Thanks to early planning, ifolor was able to increase production materials in close coordination with suppliers. All employees now work from home wherever possible. The production sites in Kreuzlingen and Kerava (Finland) meet social distancing requirements and continue to maintain production. Delivery delays are currently not expected.
