“gfm Marketing Award 2020” and photo book test winner in “Kassensturz”
ifolor wins two awards
The Swiss photo product market leader has two reasons to celebrate: yesterday, CEO Hannes Schwarz accepted the renowned “gfm Marketing Award 2020”. Later that same evening, ifolor was named photo book test winner by “Kassensturz”.
Yesterday evening in Zurich, the Swiss Society for Marketing presented ifolor CEO Hannes Schwarz with the “gfm Marketing Award 2020”. The award honours companies that stand out through outstanding marketing achievements. It assesses successful business results that can largely be attributed to innovative marketing strategies and effective measures.
Continuous improvement of the customer experience The jury justified its decision with the successful transition from an analogue to a digital business model. ifolor recognised early on that an outstanding user experience on the website and on mobile devices had to cover all customer activities: from selecting products and uploading images to payment, delivery and repeat orders. Customers should enjoy the ordering process. Prof. Stefan Michel, President of the Board of Trustees: “ifolor is a prime example of successful digital transformation thanks to long-term market-oriented corporate management. Those responsible continuously improve the customer experience. Their market penetration and market development are consistent and systematic.” Hannes Schwarz accepted the award with a smile: “My career in the family business started in performance marketing, which is why this award has special significance for me. People entrust us with their most beautiful moments, and our task is to celebrate this emotionality throughout the entire ordering process. We are honoured that our efforts have been recognised by gfm and that we have been admitted to the illustrious circle of winners of this award.”
Kassensturz names ifolor photo book test winner Two hours after the gfm award ceremony, there was another reason to celebrate. In a joint photo book test conducted by the “Fédération Romande des Consommateurs”, the consumer magazine “À Bon Entendeur” from French-speaking Switzerland and the SRF programme “Kassensturz”, ifolor emerged as the clear winner. The Premium Photo Paper photo book from the family business in Eastern Switzerland prevailed against nine competitors from Switzerland, Germany and Belgium: with 8.6/10 points, ifolor achieved an outstanding result. Image quality received the highest rating among all participants, while image reproduction, colour reproduction and contrasts, as well as book quality and the ordering process, were also rated very good. Here is the photo book test report from the “Kassensturz” programme.
