An integral part of this is testing and quality assurance. As part of agile software development, the Agile Test Engineer takes on a central role in our software development team.
To support our ongoing projects, we are looking for an Agile Test Engineer to be responsible for the quality assurance of our mobile application development. As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a great user experience to our customers.
About the role:
- Using appropriate QA measures to ensure the quality and reliability of the iOS app in the context of agile software development
- Being the first point of contact within the development team for questions relating to software testing and quality assurance
- Supporting the team and working closely with developers in an agile development
- Developing acceptance criteria and test cases based on user stories
- Test management in the form of planning, creation, execution and reporting of automated and manual tests
- Developing automated testing for integration and UI tests
- Supporting the development, setup and maintenance of the build automation pipeline
- Participating in design meetings to improve the testability of features
About you:
- Graduate in computer science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of sound practical experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing
- Ideally, certification as ISTQB-CTFL or iSQI-CAT
- At least three yearsâ experience in designing, building, maintaining and running automated and manual tests with native iOS apps
- Very good knowledge of Swift
- At least two yearsâ practical experience of at least one iOS testing framework from the areas of UI and integration testing (e.g. Appium, XCUITest)
- Ideally, experience in using build automation pipelines and CI tools (e.g. AppCenter, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages would be an advantage
- Experience in testing Android apps would be an advantage
- Very good English
